South Wind Tech Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or place an order, how we use it, and the rights available to you under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

1. Data we collect

• Order data — your name, telephone number, email address and delivery address, together with the products and quantities ordered.
• Enquiry data — the name, contact details and message you submit through our contact form.
• Technical data — standard web server records such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited.

We do not collect or store payment card details. Retail orders are paid in cash on delivery.

2. How we use your data

• To process, confirm and deliver your order.
• To contact you about your order, a delivery or a return.
• To answer enquiries and provide quotations.
• To keep accounting records as required by Hong Kong law.

We do not use your data for marketing unless you have expressly asked to receive it, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

3. Disclosure to others

We share your delivery name, address and telephone number with the courier company that delivers your order, solely for that purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or by a competent authority.

4. Retention

Order records are retained for seven years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Enquiry records are deleted within twelve months unless they form part of an ongoing matter.

5. Security

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to order records is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders. We keep our systems patched and review access periodically.

6. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You may block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

7. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Send your request to info@southwindtech.mom. We respond within 40 days as required by the Ordinance.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
